Seamless tracking of manufacturing processes creates transparent production
The IMR Traceability System offers you seamless product tracking along the entire value chain.
We advise you comprehensively in the planning of a traceability system and support you in the preparation of implementation documents such as requirement specification / functional specification as well as in the entire implementation including programming and delivery of the associated system components.
Product Labelling
The unique identification of the product is the basis of product data tracking.
The machine-readable marking procedures are individually tailored to your products. Direct markings (lasers, needle embossers, printers) as well as label or RFID transponder markings are used. We implement the appropriate marking system in your process flow.
Laser Marking
By using high-power lasers, labels and codings can also be applied to uneven surfaces without contact.
We manufacture and integrate individual laser marking devices for you using proven industrial products.
- Non-contact coding by means of high-power lasers
- Flexible coding system
- Suitable for many materials
- High abrasion resistance of the markings
Needle Embossing / Scribe Embossing
With the help of tried and tested industrial needle and scribe embossers, we ensure tamper-resistant product marking. These procedures guarantee a marking of high quality and durability.
- Robust mechanical coding by deep engraving
- Suitable for metals and plastics
- High abrasion resistance of the marking
Print marking
Our product range includes both stationary and multi-dimensionally moving print head axes.
Advantages of marking with colour print heads:
- Non-contact coding (gentle on material)
- Also suitable for high temperatures
- Suitable for many materials
We also produce labels with high reading reliability for very demanding environmental conditions. For example, individual codes can be applied on the basis of ink jet / ink spray technology even at high temperatures or dirty surfaces.
Transponder Systems
RFID technology enables the contactless storage and reading of individual information on an ASIC data carrier attached to the product. The tiny computer chips with antenna (transponder) can be used reliably under extreme external conditions.
- Material-friendly coding
- Fast dynamic reading and writing
- Reusability of data carriers
Product-ID Reading
Code readers identify the individual identifiers of the products during the production process. In this way we ensure that your product is always treated with the correct specifications and that the results can be assigned.
In addition to seamless product tracking, individual process controls can also be implemented in this way.
Production Data Acquisition
Technical Production Data (PDA) and Machine Data (MDA)
The connection of the IMR traceablity system to the control systems provided by the customer is made plant-specifically via standard interfaces or separate I/O interfaces. This enables the recording of all relevant machine and production data.
In addition to process data, information on, for example, utilization and throughput times of the production plants is also determined. The analysis of these data is the basis for the efficient exhaustion of existing potentials.
The IMR solution is characterized by a high degree of flexibility. In addition to the standard interfaces for basic automation, almost all customer-specific connections to databases and external systems can be implemented using an internally standardized data management system.
Database & Reporting
Line control computer enables time-correct data handling
The core of the IMR traceability system is the line control computer LCC. In this system, the actual values are stored in the central SQL database, the data is allocated correctly in time and, if necessary, the correct target values for the respective production cells are generated and activated.
In addition to the simple integration of the IMR solution into existing IT infrastructures, system expandability is a characteristic feature. The system can be expanded and combined by any number of participants (processing stations, etc.).
Production Protocol and Production Statistics
For each production step, the component-related storage of the time-stamped production parameters takes place in the central SQL database. After all production steps have been completed, a detailed single-step documentation of the entire manufacturing process is available for each component. This data can be linked, condensed and output as a component-related production log or saved over any period of time.
Online-Monitoring
The possibilities of the IMR traceability solution go beyond pure history documentation. The ability of online product tracking allows production processes and parameters to be monitored and controlled in real-time.
Information such as capacity utilization, throughput times or quality trends are available in real time during production.
With the IMR traceability solution, we not only reduce your costs for warranty services and recalls, but also enable you to exploit existing potentials in terms of efficient production control.
